To say that I like to read, or even that I like to write is a gross understatement of what in essence is more on the OCD skew of the spectrum than anything else. But I truly love to read and write - mostly stories that have some sort of romantic inclination whether subliminal or overt.
Though to be honest sometimes I read: comics, graphic novels, manga, biographies, autobiographies, children's picture book (with very little text), magazine's (these days mostly headlines while standing in a checkout line) and whatever genre under the sun, the stars and the moon.
I'm not big on reviews (reading or writing them). I really don't like my own view tainted by anyone else's. That said, opinions and sphincter - a winning combination. The thing is that All Romance Ebooks.com had this contest, writing and posting reviews was the only way to enter (ugh), and so I did.
Of course, I didn't win, but I made an effort beyond "I liked it," or "I didn't like it."
As for my own stories, I've yet to get published. Again All Romance takes unsolicited manuscript and require no fee. They do require their authors to have a web page (ugh). It's just one more thing to add to the long list of one more thing and really I don't want one more thing - plate is brimming over as is.
Whatever, I guess this becomes the forum for introducing my writing. Seriously, I just need a vacation. Though herein I will offer a small something or other about the stories I've written. It's basically a something or other because it could be synopsis, excerpt or a running commentary - definitely one of those - if not something else.
Read the reviews if you must, ignore them if you can and go to the something if there's something there. There is still a strong possibility there might not be.
