I was
tired of reading stories that felt somehow empty or incomplete. There are just
so many times I can reread NR Walker's "Element of Retrofit," or Kaje
Harper's "The Rebuilding Year," to restore my love of the written
word. Devon Rhodes' "A Ring and a Promise," and "A Ring and a
Vow," restored some of my optimism and put a smile on my face. Ditto for
JL Merrow's "Muscling Through." So far really, really good. (50%
done)
Finished
and I haven't stopped smiling. Words are a beautiful thing. These words came complete
with a unique narrative voice. Hell of a way to give first person POV a swift
kick in the a—.
