Hot & Sweet

With Hot & Sweet, Tanya Chris offers two love stories for the
price of one (or in this case wonderfully free on instafreebie). One Man’s Hell
was pure S&M, and yeah Rihanna, but can I stomach it. Turns out there
really is a difference between sadomasochistic and BDSM. Among other things
I’ve discovered there are a whole slew of lines I feel compelled to draw.
That said the other story in this fare,
Anytime, Anyplace, is the one that underscores the dynamic in this duo. This
amazing narrative where Archer intellectually dissect every moment with almost
no cognizant awareness of his emotional engagement is simply beautiful. The
three stars were my happy medium between the stories, but seriously Anytime,
Anyplace merited more than that all on its lonesome.
The ending (no spoilers here) is my happy
place where fiction is nicer than truth.
